چکیده
The ongoing global climate change and the associated environmental degradation pose a threat to Europe rest of world. Raw materials energy are required produce building materials, which used for construction purposes. Resulting buildings structures generate waste during construction, operation, demolition, they emit potentially harmful substances. Thus, key achieving goals is support low-emission technologies in sector, significantly impacting environment. In European Union, not yet subject mandatory sustainability assessment verification constancy performance (AVCP). Objective evaluation materials’ impact requires it be carried out based on production data an industrial scale. This article presents premixed gypsum-based plasters, commonly modern construction. Nine indicators (global warming potential (GWP), depletion stratospheric ozone layer (ODP), acidification (AP), eutrophication (EP), formation tropospheric (POCP), abiotic (ADP)-elements, ADP-fossil fuels, renewable primary resources (PERT), nonrenewable (PERNT)) gypsum plasters natural flue gas desulfurization (FGD) were estimated discussed. Knowledge products’ fundamental creating reliable databases. AVCP future will use collected voluntary evaluation.

متن کاملEffects of fluidized gas desulfurization (FGD) gypsum on non-target freshwater and sediment dwelling organisms.
Fluidized gas desulfurization gypsum is a popular agricultural soil amendment used to increase calcium and sulfur contents, and reduce aluminum toxicity. Due to its surface application in conservation tillage systems and high solubility, the soluble components of gypsum may be transferred with agricultural runoff into receiving waters. The current study measured toxicity of gypsum to Ceriodaphn...
متن کاملFlue gas desulfurization
Flue gas desulfurization is commonly known as FGD and is the technology used for removing sulfur dioxide (SO2) from the exhaust combustion flue gases of power plants that burn coal oroil to produce steam for the turbines that drive their electricity generators. The most common types of FGD contact the flue gases with an alkaline sorbent such as lime or limestone. As sulfur dioxide is responsibl...
متن کاملEmission and Leaching Potential of Mercury from Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) Byproducts Amended Soil
The release of mercury (Hg) into atmosphere, infiltration, and uptake by plants from flue gas desulfurization (FGD) material-amended soils was studied. The project was carried out in three phases: (1) laboratory study, (2) field study, and (3) life cycle calculation. In the laboratory study, factors controlling the release of Hg from FGD by-product amended soil were investigated under well-cont...
متن کاملInvestigation on Mercury Reemission from Limestone-Gypsum Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization Slurry
Secondary atmospheric pollutions may result from wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) systems caused by the reduction of Hg(2+) to Hg(0) and lead to a damping of the cobenefit mercury removal efficiency by WFGD systems. The experiment on Hg(0) reemission from limestone-gypsum WFGD slurry was carried out by changing the operating conditions such as the pH, temperature, Cl(-) concentrations, and o...
